Fruit Dip

If you live in California, you’re well aware that we tend to skip seasons here. Spring is super short-lived and summer comes in blazing hot and ready to rumble by mid April. Sometimes we get lucky and it doesn’t arrive in full force until mid-May. This is a rarity, especially here in Sacramento.

We hit the 90s this past week and it kinda made me want to cry. Fortunately, we had just got back from a Disney Cruise and the Bahamas somewhat prepared me for the jump in temp.

I also consoled myself by making this outrageously easy fruit dip that is enjoyed with some of the amazing fruits that summer has to offer. It’s both sweet and tart and is guaranteed to be the first thing to go at parties.

What To Serve With Fruit Dip

Lots and lots of fruit and to give it that special key lime pie flavor – make sure to serve graham crackers alongside this easy fruit dip. It makes that key lime pie flavor really shine through.

Here are some of my favorites:

  • pineapple
  • strawberries
  • graham crackers
  • Nilla wafers
  • grapes
  • animal crackers

But really, a spoon works just fine. As does any fruit that your heart desires. Pears, plums, grapes, apricots, peaches, etc.

This easy fruit dip is really perfect for spring and summer entertaining but of course, can be enjoyed year round. I just love the bright and refreshing flavors of key lime.

How Long Does Fruit Dip Last In The Fridge?

You’ll notice in my video that I say it can be served right away but it’s even better the next day. This is definitely true. Making the dip a day in advance lets the flavors really meld together and the key lime flavor to take the center stage.

If you don’t have time to let it chill, it can absolutely be served right away.

The dip lasts a good three days in the fridge. But trust me, you won’t be able to resist that long.
