The Ontario Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) has reacted to a contentious TikTok video created by one of its members.
According to online users, the video, titled “Some friendly HR advice,” is nearly two minutes long and was released by a self-proclaimed recruiter, Tammy Sepetis.
HRPA is aware of this video post by one of its regulated members and does not condone or promote the remarks made regarding HR practice within, according to a tweet from the organization.
Furthermore, HRPA is investigating this situation to see if any of its Rules of Professional Conduct have been broken. On TikTok, a lady addresses “freedom warriors,” cautioning them against posting content on social media.
